Garth Lee is just another one of these awesome individuals.
As a freelance motion graphics designer, Garth shares a lot of common interests with members of the Mattix Design team. Meanwhile, his expertise in animation, visual effects and motion graphics enables us to offer something special to our clients.
“Animations and video add an extra dimension to your digital presence,” Garth explains. “It’s all about visual engagement and trying to capture your audience’s attention. Making a person stop in their tracks as they’re scrolling through their newsfeed can be made simple with an eye-catching and well-executed video.”
Impressively, the creative has worked with a number of incredible international companies, such as Twinings, Rimmel, Renault and Ebuyer, to produce TV ads, explainer videos and other promotional products.
What we love about Garth’s work is his ability to add a unique and distinct flair to any type of content. Whilst video is a great way to engage with customers, motion graphics give businesses the ability to truly come into their own and align their digital and social content with their branding.
Gath’s gift has been recognised at a number of prestigious awards, including the Gong Awards 2016 for Best Animation and at the Berlin Music Video Awards during the same year. The animator was also nominated for a Radar Award and a UK Music Video Award in 2015.
“For me, the collaborative approach that Matt and I take allows the customer to access more transparency,” he continues.
“With fewer ‘middlemen’ to go through, I can work with both the customer and other experts to create a great product. It’s a win-win for everyone involved.”
